A Glimmer of Hope

Someone posted that their agency told them that their TA is on the way and should be here tomorrow so after waiting all day I decided that I had to call our agency and see if they have heard anything.  They are very conservative and do not like to get anyone's hopes up but she admitted that she had heard that there MIGHT be something on the way and expected that our TA would be in the next batch they receive. 

So tomorrow could be the day from what it sounds like!  Unfortunately she confirmed that it is too late for our "best plan" but that is OK because we have decided that we want HIS best plan.  And they do not know if the next dates are even doable with the upcoming chinese holidays.  So we are definitely going to have to make some decisions about missing events with the girls. 

So here is my prayer list for those of you willing to pray for us:

1)Pray that I can sleep tonight!

2) Pray that I can have my brain working to focus on finishing the semester strong and all the work I have yet to do.

3) Pray that God will provide the funds that we need ASAP so that we do not have to delay travel.  We found out that even the in-china costs must be paid by cashier's check in the next 1-2 weeks so we cannot charge that part of the trip.  And one of the orphanage's can have the money wired ($5000) but it has to be done by 4/28 so we don't have much time to get it all together. 

4) Pray that we can solidify plans for our girls to make sure they are well-cared fo wile we are away.

5) Please pray that we will have peace about the dates and schedule and whether we should split up to each get one boy or be together for the whole trip or part of the trip.

6) Most of all pray for our boys as they wait-- that God will keep them safe and prepare their hearts for our
arrival.

7) And pray that we will be strengthened with His might and that throughout this journey our faith would be strengthened and that we will be 100% obedient and submissive to the will of God in every area of our lives.
